I was invited to the Walker Theater at the New Conservatory Theatre Center to see the play Don’t Ask last week.  The title presumes that it would be a military-based drama about Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, which is still very much in the news and with us on a day-to-day basis where there are still honorable service members being ejected from the armed forced because of their sexual orientation.  As the lights dimmed, I expected a predicable play about the evils of such a

I got a call from Paul J. Williams a few weeks ago asking me if I wanted to see him in a theater production of The Facts Of Life.  I thought, Paul J. Williams playing a part in a show?  Who would not take him up on that offer?  I immediately said, “Yes!”of course.

Director and writer Chuck Rose (Come as You Are and Looking for Lois) submission of Side Effects is a short yet deep felt film about the eternal question of "what is my life worth?"  Though the time is of the film is short, the question is answered in a way that everyone can understand and at some level relate to.
