Leslie Jordan certainly has not had it easy in life, but he sure knows how to tell a story and with the release of the his new book, and his one-man show that goes with it we are sure to learn much more about this true and likable actor who has made this world a bit brighter for us all, while managing to make us laugh at the funniest of life,  as he has walked down his pink carpet, we all watched him become a star that is truly deserving of our support .

Leslie Jordan has certainly shined bright and the visibility  this southern belle has shown the world made him an obvious choice to receive QBliss’ very first QBliss GLBTI Creating Change Community Award – “Visibility Award” 2008. Although our QBliss GLBTI Creating Change Community Awards are not new the “Visibility Award”  is and we are so very proud to have him as the first recipient of this particular award and that in our history we will know that he was and deserves to be the first.

Leslie Jordan is currently touring around America with his new one man show, and his book by the same name  “My Trip Down The Pink Carpet” , is out now.  During his tour he will be making a special stop in Memphis, Tennessee At The Michael D. Rose Theatre on the University of Memphis, for one night only  and his only Tennessee Performance!  At this performance of Leslie Jordan's My Trip Down The Pink Carpet, he will be given "The QBliss GLBTI Creating Change Community Award – “Visibility Award” 2008. I am happy to be the one presenting him with this award.
