June 6, 2010 - PRIDE Santa Cruz

QBliss is excited to be the national media sponsor for the 36th Annual Pride Santa Cruz. The celebration will feature a Parade and Festival on Sunday, June 6, 2010. This year’s theme is “One Community” the Parade and festival is presented by The Diversity Center, and closes out the week of events. (Listed Below)

 

Some things you should know about Pride Santa Cruz: Admission is free. It is a tobacco free event. There is no outside alcohol allowed; alcohol available only in designated area.  Attendees should also take advantage of free valet bike parking by People Power, a greener way to attend pride.

The celebration will feature Grand Marshals, Equality Action Project, Frootie Flavors, Inner Light Choir, Acquire A Cappella, Politicians, Cheer San Francisco, Trusting Lucy, Horizontes, Lex, Santa Cruz Derby Girls, Haluan, GLBT Alliance, Beaver Fever, Watsonville Pride, and more!, Plus of course QBliss will have a booth and will be covering this great event.

Schedule of Festivities
Dine Out at Saturn Cafe: Wednesday, June 2nd, all day and night. 10% of each bill goes to support The Diversity Center.

Mad House: Friday Night, June 4th, 529 Seabright Ave. Door donations support Pride Santa Cruz.

Dyke March: Saturday, June 5th. The Santa Cruz Clock Tower. Rally at 2:30pm. March steps off at 5:30pm.

Pink Party - Pink at the Blue: Saturday, June 5th after the Dyke March. The Blue Lagoon, 923 Pacific Ave.

Mad House: Saturday, June 5th, 529 Seabright Ave. Door donations support Pride Santa Cruz.

Parade: Sunday, June 6th at 11 a.m., starts at Pacific Avenue and Cathcart in downtown Santa Cruz.

Festival: Sunday, June 6th from 12-5 p.m., San Lorenzo Park, 137 Dakota Street, between Water Street and Soquel Avenue.

The Official Pride After Party: Sunday, June 6th starting at 4pm at Motive (1209 Pacific Avenue). Door donations support Pride Santa Cruz.

Mad House: Sunday, June 6th, 529 Seabright Ave. The locals after party. Door donations support Pride Santa Cruz.
